Speld QLD has been supporting people with learning difficulties across the state for over 50 years.
We provide assessments educational advice, psychoeducational assessments, access to a specialist teaching service, assistive technology consultations, professional development, workshop and a specialist library.
Speld QLD has around 5,500 quality resources, which include reading schemes, games, reference materials and other resources specifically designed to support people experiencing Learning Differences.
All borrowers must be current Members of Speld QLD.
You can view and borrow from the Library during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8.00am-4.00pm. Alternatively, search the catalogue and request a hold on an item.
The borrowing period is six weeks.
Library resources can be borrowed and posted to members. Cost of postage and handling varies depending on the weight of the item and will be quoted at the time of borrowing ($14.00 to $25.00). Resources may be collected personally from the office at no cost during office hours. Return postage is the responsibility of the borrower.
