About Speld Qld

Speld Qld has been supporting people with learning difficulties across the state for over 50 years. We are guided by a strong commitment and passion for inclusivity in children and adults experiencing learning difficulties.

We provide educational advice, psychoeducational assessment, speech & language assessments, specialist teaching, assistive technology consultations, professional development, workshops, and a specialist library.

The way we work

Speld Qld is a not-for-profit organisation that partners with Education Queensland and includes a team of highly experienced education and psychology professionals who provide a variety of services. Our services are designed to benefit all individuals struggling with literacy and/or numeracy acquisition, regardless of whether they have been diagnosed with a learning disorder. We actively educate and inspire, emphasising evidence-based practices to guide individuals on their learning journey.
