Speld Qld has a directory of qualified Specialist Teachers and Tutors who provide individual or group intervention and support for children and adults across Queensland.
These specialists are highly skilled and experienced literacy and/or mathematics experts with many years of teaching experience and specialist qualifications and training.
All are appropriately trained in evidence-based teaching approaches and programs designed to improve students’ literacy and mathematics skills and must attend ongoing professional development to remain listed on our database.
These specialist tutors do not typically offer homework or assignment help. They provide intervention and on-going support to address the foundation issues relating to a student's literacy and numeracy difficulties.
