Individual tutoring for academic gaps and Specific Learning Disorder in Primary and Secondary students.

Some children come to us with a formal diagnosis, such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia or ADHD, others just with a referral from a parent or teacher as a result of falling behind their peers. All our tutoring programs start with accurate screening for exactly what a student does and does not know in their area of difficulty; what they can and cannot do. Setting very specific and measurable goals for each 5 week block keeps us all on the right path.

Our program for literacy skills utilises the evidence based and well respected Sounds-Write program. Numeracy skills are supported with the use of manipulatives and concrete materials where appropriate, along with intervention programs developed by highly respected leaders in the field. Supported study skills can address your child's learning needs and help them build confidence and motivation.

With teaching and Special Education qualifications, Sally has been a classroom and Learning Support teacher in Secondary and Primary settings for more than 25 years. Working with Specific Learning Difficulty is her passion, and the area in which she has chosen to specialise her training and spend her time.
