I have extensive experience in successfully teaching students with Autism, ADHD, anxiety and dyslexia and personal experience too, as my daughter and husband live with these conditions. I design lessons specifically for each student and work hard to make the lessons engaging and to include students’ interests. I am also an award-winning writer and understand the opportunity and enjoyment that reading and writing fluently and expressively allows. I love supporting students to achieve fluency, confidence and enjoyment in their literacy skills and am committed to providing affordable, reliable and effective learning.
With teaching and Special Education qualifications, Sally has been a classroom and Learning Support teacher in Secondary and Primary settings for more than 25 years. She provides individual tutoring for academic gaps and Specific Learning Disorder. Some children come to us with a formal diagnosis, such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia or ADHD, others just with a referral from a parent or teacher as a result of falling behind their peers. All our tutoring programs start with accurate screening for exactly what a student does and does not know; what they can and cannot do.

I’ve provided specialist literacy and numeracy intervention to SPELD QLD members for over 12 years. I support students (P-12), & homeschooling families, with learning difficulties, DLD, autism and ADHD. My child-centred approach uses structured, evidence-based instruction that is personalised to individual needs with engaging, hands-on activities to build literacy, numeracy, confidence, and reduce learning anxiety while working collaboratively with families. In my work you will see explicit teaching, hands on materials, games, puppets, movement and interactive learning experiences.

I also have a Masters in Educational Studies, during which I completed a research project on teaching Math to children with learning difficulties. With my degree in Graphic Design, I have designed visual resources that illustrate difficult Math concepts. I have also developed a similar program for English. Jessica is a registered Occupational Therapist with 9 years of paediatric clinical experience and 17 years of experience as a literacy and academic tutor. She has specialist training in structured literacy, including Sounds-Write (core prep-3 training & year 3–6 Extension) and IMSLE (5-day training). In addition to her Master of OT, she holds a Bachelor of International Studies (majoring in language) and a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). She is passionate about working with dyslexia and dysgraphia. She has expertise in handwriting development, literacy instruction, and cognitive-linguistic interventions.

Dominique is a Gold Coast educator with over a decade of experience specialising in evidence-based literacy intervention. She utilises Multisensory Structured Language (MSL) therapy, a gold-standard approach for remediating dyslexia and language-based learning difficulties.
